Tommy by The Who

I don't know how I feel about this album. definitely seems revolutionary for its time, but not really my style. If I listened to it a bunch more, maybe I'd give it a 4 or 4.5, but just not my kind of music. Pinball wizard was good though. Thanks for reading!!

Green by R.E.M.

It was fine, I guess. I felt it just meandered a lot. It was just a guy yapping over a guitar track. Kept expecting him to start saying "loosing my religion" during each song because of how similar and unremarkable each one was. Dunno, maybe people like this album for the lyrics.

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix

Idk. It was rough at the begining. Lots of meandering, but then it got interesting! He has a really cool style, but then as the album went on, he went back to meandering. I feel like if he solidified songs more, they would have been better. I mean one is literally 15 minutes long.

Blue by Joni Mitchell

I kinda hate this album. Her lyrics, melody, and guitar/piano have such a boring meandering sound. Her melodies don't even meander because that implies a smoothness to them-- they just jump large intervals willy nilly. 50s is so much better than this. 70s music is just whiny and boring. Sorry I'm not cultured like the rest of you, I'll stick to Laufey

Tank Battles by Dagmar Krause
Apr 29 2026

At first, I was like "oh this is kinda chill" because it reminds me of the soundtrack to my favorite anime, Attack on Titan. But after awhile, it just got repetitive and grating. I feel like fewer songs that are longer and more complex would be more interesting than these 20 something 30-60 second songs. She has a cool voice though
