1: Uncontrollable Urge has a strong intro, sounds a lot like Men Without Hats. Inspiration maybe? 8/10 not quite playlist worthy. 2: A really great stones cover. I like the chill aspect and that they added a lot without taking away from the original. 9/10 Cover, playlist worthy 3: Really synthy intro on the third, Praying Hands. Men Without Hat's style is super similar to this. I like it, 8.5/10 playlist worthy. 4: So far, and listening to the intro of Space Junk, I like all of the intros but the main parts aren't cutting it for me. Nice riff, 8/10. 5: Mongoloid is good, pretty groovy, and tells a good theme. 9/10 Worthy. 6: I can tell they're having fun with Jocko Homo, and it's cool, just not something I would actively listen to. 6/10. 7: Too Much Paranoias is pretty good, but it had a filler feel to me even tho they were changing some sounds around. 8/10. 8: I LOVE the intro on this Gut Feeling / Slap Your Mammy. This was good all around, and it really sped up towards the end. Def the best 9/10 so far. 9: Come Back Jonee is good, and pretty groovy. Not too many thoughts on this one. 9/10 (They referenced Johnny B. Goode so that's at least .5 more) 10: Funny one, but I can't bring myself to give it an 8. 7.5/10 11: Shrivel up was an interesting end to the album. Leaving us with the fact that we all age? I didn't really notice too many related themes to that in the album, but it's cool. 8.5/10 song. In all, nice intros but felt like too many songs weren't serious enough. Definitely their style, 7/10 album.

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton

1: Oh yeah I love this album I can tell with the first song. Love the title track, that's an instant 10/10. 2: Traveling Man was good, groovy, and fun. 9/10. 3: THE HARMONY in My Blue Tears I LOVE HARMONY. So far I'm liking how short some of these songs are. You don't need to sound sad on sad songs, you can play upbeat. This time, I wish she did a little more though. 9/10 4: I like the guitar solos here. They're not extra, and they add a lot. If I Lose My Mind 9.5/10 5&6: Mystery of the Mystery and She Never Met a Man (she didn't like) were both good, I didn't have too much to say on them. 8.5/10' 7: Early Morning Breeze 9.5/10 8: The Way I see You 8.5/10 9: Here I Am 9/10

Masterpiece. The story was good, and the bar's been raised with these bars.

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Aug 19 2025

Have it on CD. It's a classic grunge rock album, but also delves into slower songs sometimes.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet

Great Instrumental album

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright

PEAK sounded uncannily like radiohead but def still rly good, I like how the opening song is unexpected
