8.5. - Subject matter is rather concerning, but the music itself is very solid. Can see why so many people like the style so much.

Some really nice melodies, and some great tracks 'Without' and 'Jump into the fire'. Despite this, I don't think I would relisten to it anytime soon, as I think if I was in the mood for a singer songwriter from this period there would be albums higher than this on the list. Really respect some of the ideas presented though, as there are some really fantastic moments!

Love this album! Fantastic energy and melodies. I'm not the most knowledgeable about Jazz and its many forms, but the way a big band nimbly positions itself in such a high energy arrangement is awe-inspiring.

Yeah - what more can you say!
