Grateful DeadNice guitar work, but not my favorite music. Maybe it would be better after dropping some LSD?

Remember this album playing on FM album radio in the 70’s. It still passes the test with great tunes and lyrics. This album is in my personal collection and I can still see it spinning around the turntable as I browsed the album cover. Going to have to give this a big thumbs up!
Bought this double album the day it came out. Listened to it with my brother entirely in one setting. It is one of the few albums I’ve downloaded and carry with me everyday. As a tradition I play it on my flights over the Atlantic. Every track hits the sweet spot starting with Custard Pie through Sick Again. It’s not my favorite Zeppelin album but a solid top three.
Fun album to listen to top to bottom. Found a new favorite with “It ain’t Easy”. Would have been a fun time to see him in concert.
Oh this one is easy. Another all time favorite. The sound is as distinctive in 1969 as it is today. One of the albums my mind has memorized after repetitive playing. Intro to the album with the hammering of Bonzo, leads to Robert crooning thru blues infused lyrics, of women done wrong. Jimmy with his guitar licks, hammers, and bow, making music never imagined before. Not to leave JPJ out with his soaring organ intro to “Your Time is Going to Come”. As familiar as this music seems now it was the likes never before heard.
Always happy to be exposed to new music. But listening to this I was left wanting more. Don’t think I heard a sax until the last song. This will not make my playlist.
