Pretty good, i really liked to social commentary and the beats! I think commons's flow can get a bit repetitive though

sonic youth is a band i always heard about but never took the time to listen. I liked the fact that it felt your classic hard rock album but with a nice experimental twist to it. The songs are catchy but also kinda grotesque and raw in a really interesting way.

1. Really loved the trumpets and guitar. 2. First time listening to the recorded version of the song. I liked his singing better in the live version 3. Love the groove and the back vocals on that one. Love the hook "an hungry mob is an angry mob" 4. Love the harmonica in this one. Love the back vocals also. I can i hear some funkadelic and sly and the family stone in it. I think the song drags a little bit thought, it could of been 4 minutes long since it didn't really evolved or add anything new in those 2 last minutes 5. I live that piano accompany bob's cadense on the hook, the lyrics are also very poignant with bob marley's story of having to survive even if he came up from a poor upbringing 6.my lest favourite track, the song doesn't have something interesting going on and i think the groove is a bit boring 7. The song is good, but i'm not a big fan of the back vocals singing the lyrics in advance, it feels disjointed and a bit confusing to follow 8. Really loved the lyrics. A story about a homeless person losing his faith in everything because he's been abandoned by society

Average album. Really love the song trouble, to the point it's on one of my playlist. The rest of the album is pretty forgettable. As the album kept playing it started to feel like i was listening to one really long song

So surprised by that album honestly. The riffs are great, lip is actually a really interesting vocalist. His voice is raspy but also so unique. I always heard they were a cardboard copy of the beatles. But, being a huge beatles fan, i don't hear it outside of some influences here and there. in conclusion this album is awesome. My stand outs are definitely slide away, up in the sky and cigarettes and alcohol

Amazing album, i never thought i would enjoy is this much, love the riffs and the lead singer voice is unforgettable and powerful. Plus Tom Sawyer as an intro to this album fit so amazingly and is really a beautiful introduction to the album

Really like the album. La chanson rocks off m'a immédiatement accroché dans l L'univers musical de l'album. j'ai ressenti une grande liberté de la part du groupe sur la majorité de l'album. Avec des influences de blues, rock et même country. Le manque de cohésion pouvait parfois se faire ressentir de manière négative sur certains morceaux, mais de manière générale elle amenait une fraîcheur et un charme à la majorité de l'expérience. Je suis content d'avoir commencé par cet album puisque ça me donne un avant goût de la partie de leur carrière qui se voulait plus expérimentale
