Not the biggest fan of this flavor of punk/post-punk, but I can appreciate how likely “offensive” and bold it was for its time. Some aspects of it that feel ahead of its time, especially the sound of “Fodderstompf” (sounds very influential towards modern post-punk/disco like LCD Soundsystem.) feeling this one is a 3/5, I get what makes it important but it’s not for me.

It’s Led Zeppelin alright. Having listened to their later albums only (IV and beyond), hearing their older stuff actually makes me appreciate the new. Old Zepp still goes hard, but there’s a lack of refinement in it that’s not there in albums like IV or Physical Graffiti. You can still hear they’re a young band here but even still, they manage to hit hard. Favorite songs- Whole Lotta Love, Ramble On
