1001 Albums Summary

It gets lost in barely coherent noise for a bit, but overall a great album in the pioneering of New Wave. Guy feeling/Slap your Mammy and Come Back Jonee are the highlights to me.

I am in an odd quantum state where I like Bruce Springsteen as an artist, but I like hardly any of his songs. The 2nd star is for the title track alone

I like ABBA but this album is one of their weakest. Dancing Queen and Money Money Money are standouts on an otherwise underwhelming album

You would expect an album like 2112 by Rush to be just the title track and the rest to be mediocre b sides(see: In A Gadda Da Vida), but A Passage to Bangkok starts off a B side that would be the A side of a lesser bands album. 2112 is rush firing on all cylinders.

Very ambient, good, but I prefer the tracks with more melody
