Classic musicans training recording. Most musicians learned these tunes and licks. We used them in the 70s.

Not my favorite due to too much radio play growing up but its got over a billion plays on Spotify

Great Album and sparked a lot of related artists in the day.....Quincy Jones, Herbie Handcock to name a few
