Really just the one song that I knew and the Cure tribute were good listens. Good riffs but not really memorable songs. Just makes you wish you were listening to the music this is referencing. Prefer Wolfmother to this.
Pretty fun all around. Really enjoyed it will listen again. Love how they just fucking go do it all the time with no let up.
Ahh first two songs are good but man lots of it is Morrison droning on while basic blues vamps take place around him. Also at least twice they just stop the song and do rag time randomly. There are better doors albums.
Great great great. Listened to it twice. They really go for it full stop. Not an everyday listen but when you are in the mood this will hit.
Banger after banger. There is a reason I asked for the box set for Christmas. Yea they stole a bunch of blues stuff but at least that added their own thing. What a treat.
This was a real rough. It’s pretty ballsy to start a double album with a meandering piano instrumental that goes nowhere. The singer seems unable to convey emotion or even slightly change, tone or rhythm in a song. It’s very well produced, but ultimately it feels like music without any emotion connected to it. Rough stuff
Beautiful wonderful stuff through and through. Carries a lot of feelings and just wonderful grooves. A real treat after Mellancollie and the infinite sadness.

This was a great surprise. Stellar example of people just making music by themselves wholly their own. Reeks of being made in a house in a liberal arts college town. Not a bad thing.
Great album very unique connection between band and audience. Guitar playing is understated but bombastic at the same time. Came away with the feeling I’ve underrated him as a guitarist a lot. He’s doing so much but playing so little at points it jarring.
I mean I bought it day of release and listened to it almost non stop the whole year. Two musical genius es allowed to flex so their creative muscle. There will never be another hip hop album like it.
Just a pure heartbreaker through and through. Love, regret, self loathing, hope, redemption, failure, sadness it’s all here in a surprising package.
Not good all the worst tropes of singer songwriter cali folk sound. Cringe lyrics. Thought there would be a gem or two among considering the esteem but blarg not good boring even.

Musically really nice all the songs are interesting and never boring lots of exploration of blues and old timey jazz. But over all to mush of a downer to listen to in long spurts
Wow this was an absolute revelation. Just kept getting better and better as the album went on. Close your eyes tilt your head and you can almost imagine the best traveling musician s you ever heard have stopped for the night in your small hamlet and change your life.
Petty mediocre expression of corporate rock only saved from 2 stars by a couple songs and the skill of the band otherwise blah.
Great great sleazy blues rock here. They seem to be taking the piss during some of the country blues numbers so three stars instead of four but the standouts are cream of the crop.
I was living in Brooklyn when this dropped. More of a white stripes guy myself. Lots of good memories though if this album every where. Pretty one note though.
This was pretty mediocre actually surprised it made the list. 2 1/2 good songs maybe. Adam raised Caine is a straight groaner. He has better songs in his repertoire that express the exact same things. Pretty one note slow and half baked retread ideas.
Solid Punk rock nothing extraordinary but a good listen.
