We all heard "Brimful of Asha" because it's an undeniable song. But it's a song that really makes sense inside of the pastiche that makes this entire record. Also, "We're in Yr Corner" should have been a second hit. It could have been a brilliant career.

I'll be honest: It's a debut album. It's not a revelatory debut album, but it's a promising one. When it's good, it's great ("Breakdown" will always be one for the ages), but when it's undercooked, it plods along like so many other debut albums before it (if I were in the band writing "Fooled Again," I really would have argued for a chord change literally anywhere). It's probably more of a crucial album for its prescience of greatness than for the acceptable amount of greatness within it.

It's the best Radiohead album. That's all.
