Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Sep 16 2025

Sounds a little like if Harry Nilsson took a lot of downers. Some fun here, but it's a sleepy chill sort of situation.

Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix
Sep 17 2025

There was lots of Jimi Hendrix playing in my house as a kid. The man could make a guitar really sing.

New Forms by Roni Size
Sep 18 2025

I get it, feels like a pioneer for a like of the late 90s, early 2000s British hip hop/beat makers. Wanted to like it more but not for me.

Only By The Night by Kings of Leon
Sep 22 2025

I like this album more now then when it initially came out. Wouldn't necessarily be one I run to to listen to again, but enjoyable.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Sep 24 2025

Jeepster is a favorite. Who doesn't love to Bang a Gong?!

A Walk Across The Rooftops by The Blue Nile
Sep 25 2025

Was not expecting to start my day with 80s Scottish SynthPop. It's certainly a mood. Feels like something that might end up on this season's soundtrack of Stranger Things.

Caetano Veloso by Caetano Veloso
Sep 26 2025

Good background/low key evening music. Probably not one I'll revisit.

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Sep 29 2025

I do like this one.

Supa Dupa Fly by Missy Elliott
Sep 30 2025

Lots of fun tracks on this. Basically my 90s gym mix.

Kimono My House by Sparks
Oct 01 2025

Fun 70s glam rock. "This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us" is a banger.

Oct 10 2025

I do really like The Kinks. A good amount of these songs are on playlists of mine. Solid album.

Chris by Christine and the Queens
Oct 13 2025

Kind of fun. Not entirely sure why this is on the list, but some fun songs.

Elastica by Elastica
Oct 14 2025

Fun 90s throwback punk(ish?). "Connection" was the radio hit I remember, and "Stutter".

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Oct 23 2025

Great MoTown stuff.

Broken English by Marianne Faithfull
Oct 24 2025

She's fun. Would have loved to this rock and roll hot mess in the 70s.

Oct 30 2025

This feels like a Jimi Reid special. It certainly has a time and place, but it's infrequent. In our 20s getting ready for a St Patty's bash.

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Nov 03 2025

A little atmospheric, but I like it. I like the title track "Fuzzy". Very 90s.

The Specials by The Specials
Nov 04 2025

British ska, new wave, and reggae inspired all rolled into one. "Ghost Town", which does not appear on this album is maybe th le most well known, thanks in part to one my favorite movies, Shaun of The Dead. This album is okay, glad to know it. Probably won't listen to it again.

Remain In Light by Talking Heads
Nov 06 2025

"Once in a Lifetime", "Cross-eyed and Painless", and "Houses in motion" are some tops. Fun Talking Heads.

Dog Man Star by Suede
Nov 10 2025

Fine album. Sounds very 90s British. No real standouts for me.

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Nov 11 2025

The ultimate session band.

Nov 12 2025

Maggie's Farm, Subterranean Homesick Blues, Mr. Tambourine Man, etc, big songs on here.

Kollaps by Einstürzende Neubauten
Nov 13 2025

This could be used as torture for your enemies.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Nov 20 2025

If peeing your pants is cool....

Live At Leeds by The Who
Nov 21 2025

Great album! "I can't explain", "Substitute", "My Generation", plus all the Tommy songs.
