1001 Albums Summary

Good, not great. Background work music.

Sounds a little like if Harry Nilsson took a lot of downers. Some fun here, but it's a sleepy chill sort of situation.

There was lots of Jimi Hendrix playing in my house as a kid. The man could make a guitar really sing.

I get it, feels like a pioneer for a like of the late 90s, early 2000s British hip hop/beat makers. Wanted to like it more but not for me.

Shouldn't have listened to this at work, it made everyone feel too sexy.

I like this album more now then when it initially came out. Wouldn't necessarily be one I run to to listen to again, but enjoyable.

Jeepster is a favorite. Who doesn't love to Bang a Gong?!

Was not expecting to start my day with 80s Scottish SynthPop. It's certainly a mood. Feels like something that might end up on this season's soundtrack of Stranger Things.

Good background/low key evening music. Probably not one I'll revisit.

A little atmospheric, but I like it. I like the title track "Fuzzy". Very 90s.

British ska, new wave, and reggae inspired all rolled into one. "Ghost Town", which does not appear on this album is maybe th le most well known, thanks in part to one my favorite movies, Shaun of The Dead. This album is okay, glad to know it. Probably won't listen to it again.

"Once in a Lifetime", "Cross-eyed and Painless", and "Houses in motion" are some tops. Fun Talking Heads.
