Arise
Sepultura
This metal album is pretty enjoyable and also driving. However as the song progresses (8-10) it started to become repetitive which made it dry for me to listen through the whole entire track. I think the instrumentals were great but the vocals isn't what I like. I don't know if it is because Im not a huge metal fan but the vocals in the album were weird and clunky.

London Calling
The Clash
A high, energetic punk rock from the 70s. This actually entertained me as I am exposed to many kinds of influences like reggae, rock and Jazz. Despite the first song not being as strong. I still manage to stick around with the rest of the songs and all I can say is that the prominent guitar solos in this album is catchy and vibrant. I would love to play one of their songs on a guitar.
The use of strong beat rhythm and their major tonal makes me hooked throughout their album. Additionally, I love the switch ups in this album as they explore different genres. This is exemplified in track 7 with their Jazz influence along with track 11 as they change their style from a 60s style similar to Frank Sinatra into a more blues kind of rhythm
The highlight in this album was both the conclusion and the prominent guitar in this album. With their charismatic drive in terms of their strong repetitive rhythm and the way they utilize different style of music for punk. I've enjoyed listening to it, I even liked a few songs from them as they are easy to follow and actually nostalgic for me.

Truth
Jeff Beck
As I was reading the article from Wikipedia about Jeff beck's "Truth". I found out that the album is one of the greatest examples of heavy metal influence. The overall album was excellent and probably one of the best one by far during my album generator run. Despite its easy and repetitive 12-bar-blues chord progression. The way Jeff Beck introduces unique guitar effects and melodic solo in his album is phenomenal.
The ensemble itself is also entertaining, this is also evident through track 5 and the majority of the instrumental ensemble. Track 5 introduces a timpani like that adds a thunderstruck-like effect to add rhythmic interest. Moreover their instrumental tracks are also one of the most unique within the album. Track 6 features a very calming music with a bright and mellow guitar along with track 8 which contains a style of hard rock with overdriven guitar along with another piano that plays both the accompaniment and a melody.
Undoubtedly, this is by far one of my favourite album so far due to its style which is blues-rock and hard-rock. And also the fact that Jeff Beck uses his guitar effects effectively to build interest and variety within the album.

Electric Ladyland
Jimi Hendrix
The album opens in a strange yet captivating way, with the first track immediately standing out before transitioning seamlessly into the second, where the psychedelic and surreal guitar sound takes over. One highlight for me is Crosstown Traffic, a track I’m actually learning for my graduation—the riff is addictive, and the vocals hit perfectly as they echo the song’s title. What really stands out across Side A, though, are the flawless transitions between songs, especially the fourth track, a 14-minute blues piece that showcases Hendrix’s technical virtuosity. The guitar’s precision, the organ’s interplay in a call-and-response style, and a satisfying drumkit breakdown all work together to create an unforgettable performance.
Side B continues the momentum, though at times the vocals remind me more of the Beatles than a blues focus, which slightly shifts the vibe. Still, the groovy sixth track, with its bass and drum hook, is irresistible, and the seventh track drives forward with a rock and roll groove that makes me want to dance. Hendrix’s solos remain consistently fast and precise throughout, and while one track didn’t feel as strong as the others, the ninth track refreshes the album with unique guitar effects that bring a fuzzy, warm sound.
By Side C, the album experiments further, introducing a saxophone and swinging jazz rhythms that blend beautifully with guitar, bass, organ, and drums, all displaying incredible virtuosity. The eleventh track, in particular, feels like a cinematic journey, with shifting audio, eerie vocals, and a haunting atmosphere that places the listener in a mysterious hallway.
Side D brings the experience to a powerful close, drenched in psychedelic effects, roaring guitar and drums that mimic flames, and the use of the iconic “wah” sound to add even more character. The finale is unforgettable, with two legendary tracks—All Along the Watchtower and Voodoo Child (Slight Return). Hendrix’s soulful voice elevates Dylan’s cover, while the thick, warm guitar tones of Voodoo Child deliver one of the most iconic endings to an album I’ve ever heard.

This is the second favourite playlist during my project. At first I was skeptical of adding it to my favourite albums playlist but once I listen more to his solos, his ensemble and the way he invented interesting noises. I have no choice but to actually rate it high, overall the psychedelic album along with the hard blues intrigued me
