I had to turn this album off after what he said about his sister... also it was not very good up until that point anyway.
Every song sounds the same. At first I appreciated them using a somewhat unique sound even if it was kinda boring, but it ended up being that for the entire time, also the track "Girl" made me very uncomfortable. I didn't need to hear him making those strange noises for that long. The 10 minute long "Frankie Teardrop" was probably one of the biggest waste of times I've ever had, and the overly loud and terribly mixed screaming did not help. The last song was actually really great though, almost felt like a song from My Bloody Valentine. Overall not impressed with this one.
This album came out about 35 years late.
Hot take but this is probably my least favorite Beatles album even though it has some of their best songs. Just good to me nothing more.
4 songs 53 minutes… not my favorite.
This album is really great. I kinda had it on in the background for most of the time, but it was amazing for that. I see a lot of people sayings it's background music but that's not really negative to me. Even when my full attention is on it, it's still a really good album, only complaint is that it's kind of repetitive, so it isn't totally something to sit down and listen to for the entire 50-ish minutes with nothing else to do. Still, it's nice and mellow.
I was expecting a bit more. It's not a bad album, in fact I enjoyed a lot of songs, but it felt like something was missing in a lot of other tracks. I'm no music expert in terms of composing but it felt like there wasn't even a bass player half the time. There wasn't rhythm, especially at the start. Still some great moments though.
Good calming music, kind of reminded me of Leonard Cohen from earlier on this list, but unlike Cohen it didn't speak to me.
It's good, the first half felt very long and the 2nd half flew by. I felt like it was sort of repetitive, and definitely nothing too special.
His voice is so annoying.
It's cool, it was a struggle to even find this album. I just feel like music has evolved so much, this is stuff I've heard at antique shops a million times. Still some decent music though.
Some pretty decent songs. I liked it, but it's not mind-blowing either.
I've always liked this style of country, even though all of it seems to sound too similar. For that reason I will be handing out another 3/5.
Something about this album sounds very annoying.
It's better than the last Adele album I got, which I gave a 3 (if I could change it, it would be a 2), however it's just slightly less boring than that.
Nothing special, nothing much to say.
This is what I mean when I say I hate 80's music.
Some of the material on here blew me away considering this was made in the 70's, especially the last song, however a lot of it felt kinda boring.
