Club Classics Vol. One by Soul II Soul
Oct 03 2025

I thought it was pretty groovy. gives like 'late night drive' vibes or 'im in this randoms person's house and this is the music in their living room' type vibes. Pretty cool. I dont think I would listen to again tho. I liked like 2-3 songs

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Oct 04 2025

It was pretty repetitive and I found myself waiting for the songs to end. Some of the beats were great, but overdone and repeated throughout the whole song, and many songs were like that on the album. Best song was 'New York I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down' by far, which imo is 8/10

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Oct 04 2025

Pretty much just instrumental. I can see how bits of it would be used in a movie. It was fun to study to but I wouldn't listen to it anywhere else. beats actually did get fire as they went on. The parts where he said the instrument names throughout 'Tubular Bells - Pt 1' were really funny. 'Tubular Bells - Pt 1' was the best track

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Oct 05 2025

it was ok. There were some cool guitar bits. does that justify the 2 hour length in my opinion? Not really. Did the lyrics blow me away? Not really. I would listen to some songs again and maybe say 'huh this is cool' in a grocery store. It is worth mentioning that I took a few days break in-between the first disc and second disc, which might have altered my opinion. '1979' was the best track.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Oct 06 2025

listened to this album quite a long while ago now, and I thought that the instrumental was definitely strong but I was let down by the way that most songs seemed to sound the same to me. This could just be a problem of my memory, but until i listen to it again, 3/5.

evermore by Taylor Swift
Oct 08 2025

I quite liked it! Some of the songs did start to sound similar though in some parts. I thought the way it was written was really creative and thoughtful. I can see why she is so popular. I liked 'evermore', 'closure' and 'willow' I can find myself listening to this again
