1001 Albums Summary

Very intimate album. Conveys the essence of depression very accurately in a sense of not being overwhelming sadness but hopelessness. In context of sound, I would have enjoyed more piano but it also would have taken away from the mood of the album. 4.5 stars Would listen again 👍

First of all, honorable mention to the the album cover and the backstory behind it lol Second of all, I love how this album goes back to the doors's (is it doors's ???) beginnings with the blues and a mix of some psychedelic rock ya know? Never would i think hey those two mix but ive been proven wrong. Anyways its cool and I would listen to again. 4.79/5

I love Lauryn Hill's voice but R&B had never really been my thing. Regardless this album contains a lot of iconic songs that I did get war flashbacks from listening to while also enjoying them.
