1001 Albums Summary

An album I was previously familiar with and had enjoyed. If you're keen on the dreamy indie pop of the standout singles 'Kids' and 'Time to Pretend' you'll enjoy this album. Diverse enough to maintain interest and yet a coherent album. Ahead of its time. Second half of the album wasn't as attention grabbing unfortunately.

Good album. Intrigued me on the first listen but didn't offer a lot on the second. Cool to see the Genesis of dance and r&b

Enjoyable album. Thought the instrumentation was very good. Not sure if there's much replayability for me

Didn't do a lot for me at all. Feel like I've heard it before it the sense a lot of artists followed this brit pop template but didn't offer enough to be compelling

Ballads, kinda naf. Didn't do anything for me. Wasn't a bad album but I really wanted it to finish

Cool album, great sound. Couldn't get into it and sounded a bit samey after a while

Was hoping for more. A few great tracks. Really like Damon albarn so was hoping for a better insight. Brit pop ehhh
