1001 Albums Summary

At first I was a little taken a back by the style of music, but the album grew on me the more I heard it. It reminded of other 1960s artists my dad used to listen to. Favorite songs: Only Dreaming Now The Wolf of Velvet Fortune

This was a difficult listen for me. I don't like folk music. Every song sounded the same and the harmonica was so jarring at times. Bob Dylan definitely had his moments, but they are just not for me.

Not my favorite, but I can definitely appreciate Janis Joplin's voice.

This album was a vibe! I mean who doesn't enjoy James Brown. The soul of this album can be heard throughout its entirety.

Hybrid Theory is one of my favorite albums. Chester's voice is so raw and beautiful and it really shines in this album. He will forever be missed.

What a beautiful album. I was guilty of only listening to a couple songs off this record, but now that I listened to the whole thing, I found some awesome gems in there! Glad the brothers patched it up!

The album started and ended on high notes, but it kind of lost me in the middle. The different mixes of genres worked really well.

I was excited for a rock album, but I didn't love it. None of the songs stood out to me.

I didn't love it, I guess my expectations were higher. It was mostly a lot of instrumental and very little lyrics.

Definitely giving 70s punk.
