1001 Albums Summary

Solid 7/10. - Awesome concept of an album. - Definitely the foundations of the later Queen Discography. - A stupendous listen!

1/10 - Not a fan of this band or album. - Think they literally use about 3 chords on the entire album. - Every song sounds the same, mainly cause you can’t understand any of the lyrics over the 3 chords crying out the guitars. - If you like energetic early punk rock then this might be exactly what you want to hear. However for myself it’s not for me, but that’s art for ya! So I’ll quit Romoaning.

9/10 - This album is class! - If you like 90’s indie Brit rock/pop, this is one of the best albums of that time. - The style of singing and the use of both acoustic and electric guitar make it an incredible listen. - Urban Hymns definitely inspired the sound of many bands in the late 90’s and early 00’s. - Bittersweet Symphony is still probably one of the most iconic songs ever released. - To sum up, this is an awesome album!
