Rattus Norvegicus by The Stranglers
Nov 21 2025

This feels like a perfect midsection of the 70s. Not only are there late 60s and early 70s influences and sounds, it also seems to throw framework down for the new age and art proto punk to come after.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Nov 22 2025

Definitely a blues album...... can't deny that

London Calling by The Clash
Nov 23 2025

Nothing super special. Some good tracks but it felt less punk rock and more David Bowie

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Nov 24 2025

Overall, a solid album. Sometimes, simplicity works best

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Nov 25 2025

Am absolute, genre defining album. From the first moment to the last, you're not with an unrelenting, raw mix of rap, funk and metal. I can only imagine what it would have been like to hear this when it came out

The Cars by The Cars
Nov 26 2025

Really good debut album. The hits are classics even if the ending songs of the two sides are lacking. It doesn't bring the album down enough to negate how good the other tracks are.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Nov 27 2025

The album that inspired many guitar players to become unhinged. Also, the background vocals on this album are wildly overlooked.

The Slider by T. Rex
Nov 28 2025

There's one song that, depending on the day, I might listen to but otherwise it just seemed flat and nothing really stuck with me.

My Generation by The Who
Nov 29 2025

Pretty good. The songs are all solid with a nice bit of variation between them. Shows a really interesting era of the British rock scene

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Nov 30 2025

You can feel every single word that is sung that isn't just random blues sounds. Wonderful guitar tone also.
