1001 Albums Summary

Sounds like musical theatre, not really my thing. Her voice is also not super appealing to me, I think there are better singers that make similar sounding music.

Very strange, not my favorite from them. It makes sense that this is their first album, like they were still trying to find their feet a bit. "Psycho Killer" rocks though, I would be ok with just listening to that.

beautiful, just beautiful. Not much to say, this feels like a good record to sit and relax with or to play while tidying your room. Jazz music like this has such an atmospheric character to it, it makes you feel like a focus that is not aggressive nor obnoxious. You can be calm yet mischievous, deliberate yet brisk. Listening to it makes me feel cultured, when in reality I might just be pretentious lol. So far, this is the best one from this list.

I don't get it. "Every breath you take" is such a wonderful song, then you listen to the album at once, and its just so awful. The first half alone is so painful, it feels so dated, which is disappointing. So many albums from this decade can be listened to over and over again, and then you have this thing. I feel like "every breath you take" is the only reason this thing sold at all. Again, I just don't get it.

It isn't terrible, but because its not my style, it felt like a chore about halfway through.

Pretty cool, definitely an album to listen to while driving around by yourself at night(maybe just me).

Great album, very lyrically impressive. Feels nice.
