Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Dec 01 2025

Forest is a classic and M is a new favorite song. A nice listen for a dreary Sunday morning.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Dec 02 2025

The vocals on the 3 well known songs were superb and SWLABR was a surprise fave. Take it Back was also fun. Other songs were solid instrumentally, but I didn’t love the vocals.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Dec 03 2025

Ofc Faster and Tightrope are great songs. Dance or Die, Cold War and Come Alive were also good. Locked Inside has a vintage disco vibe that I like. TBH - the album could have ended after Come Alive.

Joan Armatrading by Joan Armatrading
Dec 04 2025

From the first vocal note I was IN LOVE with her voice. I had never heard a single song of hers and was so pleasantly surprised. Tracy Chapman comes to mind, but Joan’s vocals are smoother. Down to Zero, Love and Affection, Tall in the Saddle, & Join the Boys are favorites. Such an easy album to listen to.

OK Computer by Radiohead
Dec 05 2025

I found this to be unenjoyable for the most part. There were a few moments where I liked the instrumental parts of songs. Electioneering was the most tolerable song overall. I detested the vocals - whiny, grating. The lyrics were depressing and weird. The overall tone of the album was depressing.

Dec 08 2025

After listening to Radiohead, this album was more enjoyable…barely. Jesus, etc. was my favorite, followed by Pot Kettle Black. Obviously I prefer their more “upbeat” songs. Even added those two to my library.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Dec 09 2025

Overall an enjoyable album - but was a bit long. Ofc Sir Duke and I wish were favorites. I appreciated the message conveyed in Black Man. Was shocked to learn that Coolio’s Gangsta’s Paradise is based off of Pastime Paradise!

Mermaid Avenue by Billy Bragg
Dec 10 2025

This is simply not my musical genre. I couldn’t listen to it. The droning vocals do absolutely nothing for me. A few faster tempo songs would have been ok as instrumentals.
