I thought some songs were incredible while other songs were ballad-y in a way I didn't prefer. Her voice and the subject matter was captivatig.

Being a millenial, I have this impression of U2 as cheesy. Stopping and intentionally listening to Joshua Tree gave me a lot of appreciation for their music. I really like the song Trip Through Your Wires, it has a different feel from their other music.
The album is also pretty solid all the way through, especially starting strong.

I love the feeling of this whole album. Every song evokes such a specific feeling and is a treat to listen to. I especially like My First Lover, Red Clay Halo, and Everything is Free. Everything is Free was ahead of its time in commenting on where the music industry was heading. Gillian Welch is a national treasure.
Solid. What's not to love about Steely Dan? This isn't their best album, but it is very likeable with some fun songs. Razor Boy is an odd song, I wonder what it is about.
I find it hard to connect with this album, but it must have been such an incredible experience to be in the room. You can hear the crowd going wild. The musicianship is incredible.
