Hypnotised by The Undertones

At first this was a 3 for me, but multiple songs on this album have made it into my regular rotation, especially the titular Hypnotized, i actually really like this album and think it deserves a 4 upon further reflection.

What's Going On by Marvin Gaye

Firstly, this album looks super short, only 9 songs and 35 minutes long. I really like it - it's super vibey but not too low energy where i'm falling asleep.

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow

Organ donor was a skip for me. Building steam with a grain of salt was probably my favorite of the album. This whole album was kind of strange, especially hearing samples and snippets of other songs I was super familiar with just randomly sprinkled into the song. It was pretty good, vibey background music, but I don't think I would listen to it for anything else.

Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin
Dec 10 2025

It was really nice to listen to, and she has an insane voice - it's just not really my genre of choice, and I don't see myself coming back to it very often. I wish i could do half stars becuase it's beautiful and deserves more then 3 stars but i just don't see myself coming back to it and nothing really stuck with me.

Come Away With Me by Norah Jones
Dec 11 2025

Don't know why was my favorite. I really love Norah Jones, but her voice and vibe were a little slow and sleepy for me, especially at this point my my life, I need something more hype to keep me awake.

idk it wasn't bad it just sounded kind of antiquated in a way that i didn't enjoy, it wasn't bad it just didn't stand out to me and i don't think i would go out of my way to listen again
