Great band backing; smooth vocals (as expected); not really my taste, but great music is still enjoyable; a lot of classics on this album, 'You Make Me Feel So Young' always makes me think of Elf and Christmas. Favorite Song (for this listen): either 'Old Devil Moon' or 'Pennies From Heaven'
Weird in a good way. Something about Birdland reminds me of St. Vincent, also loving the shreds on that one. Kinda punk I like it, never heard of Patti Smith before. I love love love the intro to Elgie. Favorite Track (this listen): Elgie - Wishing the song was longer; beautiful vocals and spoken word, and the guitar is singing too :P
I hadn't listened to this album in its entirety before, glad I am now. Basket case is always a jam. Favorite I hadn't heard before: Emenius Sleepus.
I didn't finish the whole thing, but I really liked Disc 1. Good weird for sure! Picking up a lot of elements from other genres (especially blues). Favorite Song (this listen) - Messiah Ward
