1001 Albums Summary

I can’t believe that this is Steely Dan‘s first album. It sounds like a greatest hits collection. I am,of course, way too familiar with these songs so I don’t welcome so much the ones I don’t know. However, I was pleasantly reacquainted with midnight cruiser, which I had forgotten about. I recommend “reeling in the years” for a great 40th birthday party theme.:)

I’ll never get beyond the lyric “I’ve got soul but I’m not a soldier”

I forgot how much I like Lucky Man. The rest of the album is meh
