Major classic first song but haven’t listened to the rest so excited to dive in! 1. Hotel california has one of the best guitar solos with it really building up to something special 2. New kid in town very satisfying and feels familiar, musically interesting and nice lyrics weaving along seamlessly to tell the story 3. Life in the fast late shows a change of vibe and pace fitting to the name. Do already know this one. Reminds me of the race scenes in Grease and Drive in the classic LA landscape. 4. Wasted Time a lovely ballad with a nice addition of strings and some interesting moments with bass and vocals. A little boring but satisfying. 5. Wasted Time Reprise this is exceptional. 6. Victim of love did not grab me at all sadly. 7. Pretty Maids all in a row was pleasant but I lost interest. 8. Try and love again comes full circle with the same themes lyric wise with interesting moments lyrically but misses a great guitar riff imo 9. The last resort a stunning ending, the second half opens up something that felt missing in the mid section of this album, ties everything up perfectly. Overall very enjoyable with great moments however a couple of songs leave more to be desired.
