honestly wow. vibes of an early 2000's montage/ video diary of a vacation in summer, laying on the beach watching people surf and being in your 20's doing shit. okay so only for the first 4 songs hahah. okay no we're back to that vibe. this album would be great for a film. honestly love that there are different kind of genres and vibes and it's a visualy pleasing album, will listen again.

holy shit this is good. i only knew the iconic song american pie but non of his other songs. i'm glad that this album is on here, because in my opinion this truly is a masterpiece.

idk it isn't bad but it also isn't horrible. listening to the whole album at once was a bit much for me. but will definitely keep this album in mind.

it's good but the long trumpet solos slightly gave me a migrane. also how can this make some people happy? i do like music from the 50s but i had to take breaks to finish this. seriously the trumpets, it gets to a point. good background music when there is chatter around, wouldn't blast this on full volume.
