1001 Albums Summary

I’m familiar with this album. I liked some of the funkier songs & the samples used in the album. I know it’s from a different time but I didn’t enjoy the use of some slurs and the song where bro was pissed a girl didn’t wanna sleep with him. Still, fuck the police.

Love The Doors. Liked this album but it’s nowhere near my favorite Doors album. It has a couple of classics but it’s not as exciting & different as some of their others.

Very good album, has one of my fav Beatles songs - And I Love Her. I’ve listened to this album many times & always enjoy it.

Listening to this album brought me back to high school, sitting on my bedroom floor doing homework & scrolling through tumblr. Very nostalgic & comforting. Plus it’s just a beautiful album.

I love a live album and this one was really fun. It was funky, it was jazzy. I enjoyed it.

I’m a big fan of New Order & synth pop in general. This album made me want to dance with my friends. Rating it 5 stars for Elegia alone. It sounds like something straight out of a video game or Interstellar. I want to listen to it on repeat.

I didn’t enjoy this album as much as I have other flaming lips stuff I’ve heard. Just wasn’t feeling it.

I typically don’t care much for holiday music but this album does it well. I was already a fan of The Ronettes, I enjoyed the other groups as well.

Metallica always hits. It brings me back to being a kid, playing guitar hero with my brother. This album is great and has one of my all time fav Metallica songs - The Thing That Should Not Be.

Loved this album. Lots of fun, funky songs. It’s also giving Steve lacy, I feel like he had to have drawn inspiration from this album or at least from Stevie wonder in general.
