1001 Albums Summary

I’m familiar with this album. I liked some of the funkier songs & the samples used in the album. I know it’s from a different time but I didn’t enjoy the use of some slurs and the song where bro was pissed a girl didn’t wanna sleep with him. Still, fuck the police.

Love The Doors. Liked this album but it’s nowhere near my favorite Doors album. It has a couple of classics but it’s not as exciting & different as some of their others.

Very good album, has one of my fav Beatles songs - And I Love Her. I’ve listened to this album many times & always enjoy it.

Listening to this album brought me back to high school, sitting on my bedroom floor doing homework & scrolling through tumblr. Very nostalgic & comforting. Plus it’s just a beautiful album.

I love a live album and this one was really fun. It was funky, it was jazzy. I enjoyed it.

I’m a big fan of New Order & synth pop in general. This album made me want to dance with my friends. Rating it 5 stars for Elegia alone. It sounds like something straight out of a video game or Interstellar. I want to listen to it on repeat.

I didn’t enjoy this album as much as I have other flaming lips stuff I’ve heard. Just wasn’t feeling it.

I typically don’t care much for holiday music but this album does it well. I was already a fan of The Ronettes, I enjoyed the other groups as well.

Metallica always hits. It brings me back to being a kid, playing guitar hero with my brother. This album is great and has one of my all time fav Metallica songs - The Thing That Should Not Be.

Loved this album. Lots of fun, funky songs. It’s also giving Steve lacy, I feel like he had to have drawn inspiration from this album or at least from Stevie wonder in general.

I enjoyed it for the most part but I also didn’t care to listen to the entire album. All of it is a bit the same. I did like Out of the Blue because there were parts that reminded me of Tame Impala’s older work. Overall, would listen to if mixed into a playlist of other stuff but probably won’t listen to the actual album again.

Wow, this was such a pleasant surprise! Not every single song on the album was my jam but the ones that were…actually breathtaking. The second track was lowkey life changing idk im obsessed with that song. And then I found out they did music for black mirror & the song for the red wedding in got. I really really enjoyed this.

Couldn’t finish the album. It’s so long & most of the songs are very repetitive. Just not my cup of tea.

Incredible album, so replayable, makes me feel like I’m the main character in a early 2000s movie

Very odd. Some of it was really fun and enjoyable to listen to. Others were okay & dragged on a bit.

My second favorite led zeppelin album, reminds me of my dad

It’s funky, there’s so much sax, it’s a good time, just not really my kinda vibe.

Very fun jazz album, a good time front to back

I had never heard of this band before and I’m so pleasantly surprised. I hear a lot of cage the elephant and king gizzard & the lizard wizard. I really loved this album & im absolutely going to be listening to their other music.

Absolute banger. Really cemented my interest in rap when I was in high school. Lyrically genius, good beats. I will always love the beach house sample.

Love this album, so many classics. I think if I did karaoke I would do movin’ out lol
