This being the first album I've been given feels like some sort of sign. Oasis have been a part of my life for years, and being surrounded by this sort of music growing up has become a part of me. Especially living in manchester, it sort of connects you to the music and reminds me of home. This was the first album I ever owned on CD, inherited from my mum, and I saw them a couple months ago with her. The atmosphere was just insane, 10/10 album, not one bad song on it. Favourite song - Champagne Supernova

I absoloutley love older Christmas songs. Anything made post 1990 (or anything produced by mariah carey) just isn't what Christmas feels like.

Tbh it's not really my sort of thing, however, I took a liking to "I'm so bored of the USA". Nearly 50 years later and I can still agree lmao.

Not a big fan of blues/jazz. But I can appreciate it. Quite relaxing but it reminds me of some posh restaurant from a movie lol

Black Monk Time by The Monks

The only way I can describe the listening experience, is like watching rocky horror picture show for the first time, completely blind, in the sense that I had absoloutley no clue what was going on. It is unique, I'll give them that. The mash up of the extremely distorted guitar and banjo gives off something I've never heard before, but throughout the album I've grown quite fond of it. Whilst they won't be in my top 10 I can appreciate its obscure sound for its time, and it was hard to believe it came out in the 60's. I enjoyed the insanity and the use of an organ was certainly a choice, but entertaining and worked surprisingly well. During some points however, I was laughing my arse off, and cuckoo reduced me to tears. Overall quite a fun album, and definately wacky as hell. After reading up on the band I wouldn't have expected anything less from the band. Favourite song : monk time
