Fugees The score Stand outs Track 2: How Many Mics - it sounded familiar from when I first heard the lead - cool airy synth(?) Track 4: Zealots - i dont know, i just really like it Track 5: The beast - i instantly wanted to know the name of the song Track 6: Fu-Gee-La - "ooo la la la la la la lalalalalaaa" Track 8: Killing me softly with his song - classically awesome Track 9: The score - the chorus includes mix of the hooks used in each song and skit snippets Bonus track: Mista mista - I really like songs with storytelling in them. This reminded me of Bobby James by NERD because both of these songs relate to drug addiction and falling deep into it (the only difference being the perspective). Summary Overall, I liked this album and i thought it was very cool. I really liked the simple yet captivating drum patterns they used along with the amount of instruments they used; not much, but enough. I really like this style of rapping that sounds like talking and rapping at the same time. I've always wanted to get used to that kind of freeform rap and i'd say it helped a ton. 8.2/10 December 21st 2025

bob dylan time out of my mind this album has nice instrumentals that you can learn from. the vocals aren't particularly my style, but they're beautiful in a few songs. stand outs track 3: standing in the doorway - it feels like rereading (or proofreading) a sad letter you're about to send to an old lover who broke you, and its beautiful. track 9: make you feel my love - cool melody and easy to get stuck in you head.

track 1: station to station - long intro, but i know i'll have to get used to it - cool beat change ^_^ - i really like long songs 6.8/10 track 2: golden years - gooooolden years 6.4/10 track 3: word on a wing - 1 min in, this could be my favourite song on the album - bbbbeaaautiful!!!!!! 8.5/10 track 4: TVC15 - didnt add it to my playlist - good song but i cant imagine myself listening to it on the regular - not the best but its not terrible 4.8/10 track 5: stay - the intro helps me believe that this'll be nice (34s in) - absolutely AWESOME - cool guitar riffs - would listen to this lots and lots - surpasses word on a wing by a few 8.8/10 track 6: wild is the wind - "with your kiss my life begins" wow - absolutely earthshattering - i really like the note arrangement - i lied this is my favourite song on the album 9/10 astronomically bodacious brah.. 7.5/10

2011 remaster* track 1: death on two legs - the piano at the start locked me the freak in hello - death on two leeeeeeeegs 6/10 track 2: lazing on a sunday afternoon - jolly as hell - an interlude of some sort - not bad but its short 4.2/10 track 3: i'm in love with my car - this'll probably be me when i get a car 4.6/10 track 4: you're my best friend - instantly recognisable - fun and joyous 😛😛 - ouuuuu ur making me live 8/10 track 5: '39 - sounds like da olden days and i like it - i like the high notes in the background 7.5/10 track 6: sweet lady - sweet laydeyyyyeah - incredible riffs - good song but it wouldn't be on my playlist 6.4/10 track 7: seaside rendezvous - sounds like something you would hear in the background of a classical bar - i like the goofy instruments 6.7/10 track 8: the prophet's song - longest track on the album - the effects on the "now i know" parts are extremely cool and worth taking note of. i'll definitely come back to that in the future and do something inspired by that. - i was going to skip this because i was quite tired, but this was 100% worth listening to - this COULD be my favourite song on the album, i dont know yet (edit: it beat bohemian rhapsody by 0.1) 9.7/10 track 9: love of my life - transitioned really nicely with the last song - i rlly like the harps - do i know this song? it probably sounds similar from bohemian rhapsody's intro/verse lead 9/10 track 10: good company - groovy as heck - i love it when songs have a beat change but it isnt a beat change 7.4/10 track 11: bohemian rhapsody - IS THIS THE REAL LIIIFE OR IS THIS FANTASYYYYY - classically classic - everything actually - this is a song every theatre king has sung on the top of their lungs before and i kinda understand it now - genshin impact ruined this song for me 9.6/10 track 12: god save the queen - thought this was gonna be the british anthem and i was correct, but its still a banger - good arrangement - not playlist worthy tho 4.9/10 this album is good at breaking the repetition cycle at the right time. rock royalty. calculated 7/10 because 1 third was below 5, but it deserves an extra 0.5 7.5/10 december 23rd 2025
