I already had listened to a few The Cure songs (Boys Don’t Cry, Let’s Go to Bed), so I’m somewhat familiar with them ish. Plainsong - long instrumental beginning, dreamy and a bit whimsical lol Pictures of you - also very long song, still enjoyable and a little groovy, I feel like it could be in an 80s teen romcom movie or smth Closedown - long intro lol, dramatic, the deeper percussion is a nice touch Love song - I like how it’s more upbeat compared to the other songs, the little guitar riffs are sick af Last dance - sounds a bit similar to the other songs a lil bit 🤷‍♀️ Lullaby - I had listened to this song so lowkey biased but I really like this one :P, the strings and the plucking in the background is a really nice touch, also Spider-Man Fascination street - sounds like lullaby but more hardcore 🤘, I like the percussions pauses to let the guitar have a moment, just overall enjoyable Prayers for rain - kinda reminds me of Prince idk why, a lot slower, nice break from the faster songs The same deep water as you - a bit similar to prayers for rain, REALLLLY long but still sounds good, melodramatic kinda Disintegration - also sounds a bit like of the other upbeat songs a little bit Homesick - the chords are nice, dramatic in a way Untitled - ok accordion, still a bit similar but the accordion was a nice surprise #accordion OVERALL: the songs were verrrrryyyy long with long instrumental intros, which sometimes went for a bit too long, but I rlly liked the tone and vibe, very 80s obvi with a little mystery and spookiness sprinkled in. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 / 5

I have no idea who this band is or any songs from them. 🤷‍♀️ P-funk - I was lowkey expecting a synthy electronic album, but I was very surprised that it was funk, no doubt it’s very funky. Was a bit long ngl Mothership connection - lowkey just sounded like the other song, doesn’t rlly grow or change at all Unfunky UFO - sounded extra funky idk how that was possible, but also started sounding repetitive after a bit Supergroovalisticprosifunkstication - same note as the others 🥀🥀 Handcuffs - same note again and again 🥀🥀🥀🥀 Give up the funk - ok deep voice, was lowkey starting to be promising, but still became repetitive 😬 Night of the thumpasorus people - thank god it’s done oh lord Overall - ok I’m not sure if it’s because of this particular album or if I’m just not a big funk fan, but I found this album to be very repetitive. Each song was just the same beat and lyrics repeating lowkey, it didn’t grow change or grow or do anything 🤷‍♀️ ⭐️⭐️/ 5

I already had listened to a few of their songs (Sexy Boy, and Playground Love and High school lover from the Virgin Suicides soundtrack) so I’m somewhat familiar with their music. La femme d’argent - nice slow, groovy number, I like the little electronic sci-fi effects sprinkled in there, it is a wee bit long tho ngl Sexy boy - LOOOVEE, love the weird gravelly sound at the start, rlly rlly like all the details in this one, the guitar, the ‘ooo’, the wowowow, so gooood All I need - the vocals are a nice touch from the mostly instrumental songs before, more chill Kelly watch the stars - ok beat drop, rlly like the autotuned vocals, reminds of Daft Punk a little bit, also sci fi sounds lol 😛, like how this is a bit more upbeat Talisman - a lil mysterious 👀, oooh I like that it picks up the beat later and slowly builds Remember - autotuned voice again eat, nice softer song to balance out You make it easy - ok voice, lowkey feels a bit flat compared to the other songs, doesn’t rlly stand out to me 🤷‍♀️ Ce matin-la - rlly chill in a nice way, love the strings later on, holy moley, just sounds nice to listen to New star in the sky - also just a rlly nice listen, I was walking while listening to this so I wasn’t FULLLYYY paying attention lol Le voyage de Penelope - actually love, a little groovy, I rlly like the wowowowowows and the flutter things, really cool OVERALL: all of the electronic details are so goooood, just makes the listen even more interesting, it all flowed really well together, and the occasional vocals were nice to keep the album interesting, I rlly enjoyed it 😛 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5

I’m somewhat familiar with the White Stripes from a few of their songs (Fell in love with a girl, seven nation army, we’re gonna be friends), so I’m not going in completely blind. 😛 Dead leaves and the dirty ground - strong start, like the instruments getting ready in the beginning, good rock sound Hotel yorba - more upbeat, sounds fun 😛 kinda sounds like a muppets song or smth Im finding it harder to be a gentleman - reminds of the pixies a little bit, I think the voice maybe 🤷‍♀️ Fell in Iove with a girl - already knew this one but I still like it, short and sweet but still rlly catchy Expecting - more heavy and slower which was a nice change Little room - veryyyyy short, very simple tho, just drums and voice The union forever - a little mysterious, I like the synths in the background, it rlly does sound like the pixie’s damn, I like the break in the middle, adds a nice breather 😛 The same boy you’ve always known - classic rock kinda sound, was gonna say this doesn’t speak to me as much but then the guitar solo interrupted me rude We’re going to be friends - I already knew this from Napoleon Dynamite, which is one of the best movies ever, so not biased but this song is rlly sweet and comforting to listen to Offend in every way - this one was still good but didn’t stand out to me as much 🤷‍♀️ I think I smell a rat - now he sounds like Jeff Buckley at the start, #shapeshifter Aluminum - ok experimental, lowkey like it, completely instrumental except for some aahhhhs in the back, but it’s kinda a vibe I can’t wait - lowkey Now Mary - these 4 songs I can learn - kinda blended This protector - into each other (or I wasn’t rlly paying attention 🤷‍♀️) OVERALL: there were lots of songs, but they were all quite short so it made up for it, sometimes they flowed together rlly well that you couldn’t tell that the song changed 🤷‍♀️, the style and vocals lowkey reminded me of the pixies a lot (I like the pixies 😛). Rather enjoyed this album if I do say so meself ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5

I don’t know who Phil Spector is, but I know Christmas songs cuz who doesn’t 🤷‍♀️ It was cool to hear the songs from the 60s and to be able to hear that 60s sound through the songs. I liked the Ronettes songs the most 😛 Then again, they are just Christmas songs, so they’re not my fave to begin with, but still a decent Christmas album 🤷‍♀️ ⭐️⭐️.5 / 5

I haven’t heard any songs from this band, but I have seen the album cover a lot. 21st century schiztoid man - holy moley what a strong start, ok this is great, I love the drums and clarinet (I think 🤷‍♀️) and all of the switches in the song, I thought it drag because of how long it is, but it didn’t at all I talk to the wind - rlly like the vocals and the tone, very soft and pleasant, ok flute solo, ok bass solo, this is just a really nice listen 😛, ok flute solo part 2 Epitaph - nice soft start ish, looove the build with the drums and vocals, ok yearning, YES CRESCENDO, lowkey getting medieval now 👑, the clarinets are back, love the drum fills near the end, this is so good what the heck Moon child - oh my 12mins long, the soft start is nice, now they’re smashing their instruments randomly for a while, ok it’s not bad, but I feel it’s not as good as the other songs so far 🤷‍♀️ The court of the crimson king - this feels so grand (like a king🤴, a crimson king if you will🤴), THE FLUTE IS BACK, why did it go into an adventure time beat, ok we’re so back OVERALL: ok woah, this is album is rlly rlly good, I was worried that the songs being 7 to 12 mins long would drag on, but I didn’t have that issue at all. Except for moonchild, which got a lil experimental and just wasn’t my fave, all of the songs are sooooo good, and I understand why this album is so influential. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5

I only saw War from low rider, otherwise I don’t know anything 🤷‍♀️ Cisco kid - ok rlly groovy intro love, the bass lick and guitar is rlly cool also very groovy, feel like im waiting in line to get in the club that u go to all the time definitely Where was you at - more upbeat, the call and response is a nice touch 😛, also very groovy City, country, city - ok organs, ok guitar solo, rlly like that this one is more mellow, 13 MINUTES ???!!! I just checked what, kind of reminds me of the King Crimson album with all the switches and changes in one song 😛 nice background music Four cornered room - also another long one dang, slower and calmer, I think this one drags on just a smidge but it’s still nice to listen to 😛 The world is a ghetto - omg this one is rlly long too, still very groovy Beetles in the bog - ooo I like this one, groovy but more upbeat if that makes sense, I like the layered vocals a lot to sound fuller, is that a saxophone?? 👀 OVERALL: i love the grooviness and swagger throughout the whole album, I thought it had a rlly strong start, but as I realised how long each song was, it dragged on a little bit 😬 but the beats and rhythm were so good that it didn’t make that much of a difference 🤷‍♀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5

I haven't heard anything about this band, I'm going in fresh. The state I am in - lowkey gives Mountain Goats and Angus and Julia stone vibes a little 😛, I'm a sucker for indie music so I find this rlly catchy, lowkey I'm also getting Paper Kites (like they're more recent stuff) Expectations - more upbeat, lowkey kinda ska maybe a little bit idk 🤷‍♀️, I rlly like the addition of the strings later, and trumpet ???? okkk!! this one is nice :) She's losing it - ok snaps, just in general this is a nice chill listen, the trumpets are back !! (me in another life 😛), I like the layering as the song goes, it keeps building You're just a baby - more upbeat, I like that the drums come in slightly later, ok claps, still rlly good but I think I just prefer some other songs over this one, ok it's growing on me a bit Electronic renaissance - ok electronic, idk how I feel about it tho tbh 😬, actually a bop nvm I take it back I'm sorry I doubted you, maybe cuz it's lowkey 80s a little bit so that's why I like it now 😛 I could be dreaming - the paper kites are back, the background synth bits are a nice touch, I also like the guitar riffs very catchy :), yes lalalalalassss We rule the school - the piano is a nice switch from the guitar, nvm the guitar is back lol, this one is very pleasant, very calming and relaxing, ok flutes My wandering days are over - this one is also rlly nice, more upbeat but more fun kind of, sounds like a song for characters in a movie going on a journey montage sorta thing I don't love anyone - yes strong guitar, this sounds like opening of teen movie montage of them getting ready for school, also more upbeat but still enjoyable 😛 Mary jo - FLUTE IS BACK, bruh I keep saying they're all enjoyable cuz they all are, I hear those strings again 👀, ok guitar break kind of, wow great album OVERALL: I also already listen to a lot of indie music, so it wasn't a surprise that I would like this album, it reminded me of a lot of other indie artists that I enjoy but it was still slightly different from them, lowkey I was just enjoying the songs instead of thinking what to write about them so that probs says how much I liked it 🤷‍♀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5

Disorder - idk why but this song sounds very familiar, still a catchy rock song 😛, it reminds me of Dancing with myself by Billy Idol a little bit Day of the lords - a bit slower, lowkey the deep voice sounds a bit like Elvis hey mama, lowkey this one’s a little one note soz not soz Candidate - now he sounds like Fontaine DC a bit, still sounds nice but also a wee bit one Insight - I like the laser sounds, pew pew pew, lowkey this one sounds slightly different more like the Cure, this one is nice 😛 New dawn fades - this one is more grungy in a way #emo, this one also sounds like Billy Idol a smidge, I liked this one 😛😛 She’s lost control - wee bit mysterious, I’m getting gothic vibes even though it’s not goth music at all 🤷‍♀️, still a nice listen Shadowplay - ok drum solo, dang I like the crashes and all the sounds in this one, definitely getting rock from this song, 🎸🎸🤘 Wilderness - lowkey I think wasn’t Interzone - paying attention on what I remember nothing - to write, but they all sound good 😛 OVERALL: a nice classic rock album, I understand why this album is so popular tbh, there were some songs that sounded very similar but as I kept listening I didn’t have that problem as much 🤷‍♀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5

I haven't heard anything about this band or any songs from them. (I'm only listening to the first disc, cuz the whole album is 2.5 hours long yikes) Pristeen - I like the voice intro, lowkey the rest of the song is the same, and idk how I feel about the singer's tone but we shall see Double vegetation - ok this one sounds way better what happened to the other song, all the instruments sound great in this one, way more rich and powerful, more upbeat East Easy Rider - ok why is the beat lowkey reggae or hip hop a smidge, not rlly but like a little bit, just a nice beat, nice to listen to Promised land - lowkey reminds me of the mountain goats, I think from the synths in the background, ok Hanging out and hung up on the line - ok guitar!!!! big switch from previous song, more upbeat but has a nice ring to it Safesurfer - just a nice instrumental, the guitar is greeeaattttt, dang 10 whole minutes, it was actually fine it went into vocals like half way through If you love me at all - lowkey the instrumental reminds me of the cure but not rlly, it's still good but I prefer other songs Drive, she said - is that cowbell i hear ???? more upbeat, but bro I'm not even half through the half of the album Soldier blue - soulja boy, sounds like it could be from air a bit, still upbeat and fun to listen to You... - nice and short which i appreciate, only just got past the halfway point lol Not raving but drowning - i wasn't paying attention tbh, i had to take a break from the album cuz its SOOOO LONGG Head - ok im back, this one is fine, it was still good but I think they were just some better songs Leperskin - oh lowkey a bit groovy, the cowbell is back!!! I am getting a bit bored ngl Beautiful love - I just skimmed through Western front 1992 CE - all of these songs Hung up and hanging out to dry - because i couldnt take The american lite - how long this freaking Las vegas basement - album is jesus christ OVERALL: bro there's so many songs and this is just half of the album, lowkey doubted this album at the start cuz I didn't rlly like pristeen, but then it got wayyy better afterwards, all the songs after for the most part sounded good, but I just kept thinking about how long the album was, now the songs are getting a bit repetitive :( ⭐⭐/ 5

I have heard of iron maiden but haven’t listened to any songs from them. Invaders - strong start, nice classic rock sound, like the vocals for INVAAADEEEERS, for some the voice reminds me of Invader Zim (also invader harhar) Children of the damned - a lot softer and delicate, ok vocals !!!! It has built a lot now which I like #plottwist, YASS SCREAMM 😛 The prisoner - ok scene and acting, love the guitar and the chords in this one, ok double time !!! Don’t know spit in my eye pls 🧍‍♀️, ok guitar solo !!!!! 22 acacia avenue - love the rhythm of the guitar at the start, bow bow bow, just a nice listen overall, surprisingly doesn’t get boring when it’s 6.5 mins The number of the beast - intro dialogue sounds like it could be from Rocky Horror, DANGG THAT YELLLL, this one was sick af Run to the hills - ok cymbals, a little bit groovy lowkey, would be great in a running playlist, also sounds a bit like the Aquabats but love, I rlly like this one 😛😛 Gangland - ok whiplash, sounds like he’s saying gay man #pride, more upbeat, still a good listen Hallowed be thy name - ok love the switch up, wow what a great album OVERALL - I rlly appreciate a shorter album cuz yesterday was ROUGHH, I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it, I do like rock but I don’t normally gravitate towards it often, still rlly enjoyed all the songs and guitar solos 🎸🎸 (also I thought the red guy on the cover was spider man) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5

I already know a few songs from Prince, and I’m somewhat familiar with him as an artist ! 1999 - reminds me of the CLIA awards, really catchy and upbeat, the synths in the back are very memorable 😛 #party, it is a smidge repetitive ngl Little red corvette - ok transition, omg so 80s I love it, I actually the weird little yells he does, #borninthewronggeneration Delirious - sounds like a silly video game soundtrack from omori or smth 😛, Let’s pretend we’re married - also very 80s, upbeat and fun, sounds like it could be in a John Hughes movie DMSR - the synths sound very wham! to me, and I looooove wham, a little groovy, also a wee bit long and repetitive Automatic - it wasn’t my fave, but also I wasn’t rlly paying attention heaps to this one 🤷‍♀️ Something in the water - this one is also alright, but the screams are back 😛, dang they’re rlly back, Free - also didn’t rlly like this one as much :( Lady car driver - ok we’re back, reminds me of little red corvette, also why is there a lady moaning in the back calm down, ok drums !!!! All the critics love u in New York - sounded like a rllyyyy long interlude, but still a nice listen International lover - sang bro is having a whole orgasm during this whole song, still pretty good if I do say so meself OVERALL - it started off rlly strong, but somewhere in the middle it lost me a bit, some songs sounded a bit similar to each other, BUT the songs that were good were GOOOD, and I do love 80s music so it kind of balances out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5

I've heard of Simon and Garfunkel, but haven't properly listened to any of their music. Bookends theme - lovely guitar if I do say so meself, nice short intro Save the life of my child - ok synths, nice switch up, I was not expecting this from them, way more upbeat than I thought America - rlly peaceful, sounds like other folkie songs I've listened to, so love Overs - short and sweet, but also a nice gentle guitar song, rlly nice Voices of old people - just an interlude of dialogue Old friends - ok strings, also nice delicate listen, lowkey orchestral and a bit dramatic, just a smidge Bookends theme reprised - nice guitar again again Fakin it - more upbeat, nice change from the folkie songs Punky's dilemma - 'wish i was an english muffin' that's exactly what Ive been saying, like the sound effects of someone falling down the stairs, this song is so silly Mrs robinson - a wee bit groovy, says its from the graduate, might have to watch A hazy shade of winter - i hear organs or smth in the back!!! the vocals remind me of someone but idk who..... good song tho At the zoo - the delicate guitar is back !!! and its here to stay, pew pew, ok country dig, i wanna go to the zoo, no i don't OVERALL: I rlly appreciate a shorter album, as the other songs I've gotten have been rather lengthy, reminded me of other folk artists I had listened to before, so they fit right in, they were very easy to listen and very soothing too, overall the guitar was just lovely. I've heard of James Brown but had never properly listened to any of his songs, soz. Intro by Fats Gonder - dang, great intro, and the crowd goes wild !!!!!! I'll go crazy - rlly jazzy and smooth, but he’s a great performer Try me - crowd favourite apparently, rlly beautiful vocals dang Instrmental bridge 1 - 12 seconds !! Yes jazz and trumpets Think - jazz jazz jazz, very upbeat but sounds very fun, would be a fire MT number Instrumental bridge 2 - 9 seconds !! I don't mind - crowd loves this one too, I like the rlly quick vocal echo (idontmind), very sultry Instrumental bridge 3 - 10 seconds !!!! Lost someone - 10 mins, makes up for the bridges lol, dang great crowd work, ok it’s getting a little long lowkey Medley - very long, all the songs kinda sound the same ngl Night train - I’m glad I’m ending now, geez Louise OVERALL: this is just a recording of one of his performances, but dang the crowd loves him, he’s a great performer. I also like it being less than 30 mins long 🫶, everything blended into each part that I didn’t even notice the song changed. But lowkey at the end, I was getting a bit bored 🤷‍♀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5
