The opening track is a pretty crazy opening, starting like some eerie movie track into a rock pop amalgamation that sounds pretty epic. Candle in the wind... I'm familiar with this track. I fucking love this song. Something about the song writing speaks to me. I love the tempo and how all the instruments compliment each other. Its apparent that its about Marilyn Monroe, I don't know much about her, but this track confirms all the stuff I've heard about her being sexually abused basically her whole life. A very sad but great song. Bennie and the Jets. I really like this track, gets my head bobbing every time, and its the only Elton John song my Gen Z Girlfriend likes. Its overplayed for me because I hear it all the time out and about, and at work, so all I'll say Is it's an phenomenal piano song. The solo always tickled my brain when I first heard it. Good stuff. Good Bye Yellow Brick Road. A very good song about rejecting fame and fortune for a simpler life, written by Elton's song writing partner. I suggest you google more, its pretty interesting. Good song. The rest of the songs are varying but overall good. I was pretty disinterested in them honestly because I felt like the song writing got really boring and same-y but its worth a listen to see if you like anything. Amazing start to an album that gets boring as it gets to the end.
