1001 Albums Summary

Ik ben niet per se een soul type dus zal dit niet zo snel aan mij playlist toevoegen. Respect vond ik wel leuk, deze kende ik ook al, omdat deze een iets hoger tempo heeft. Ook vond ik do right woman, do right man wel catchy. De rest had ik niet echt iets mee, maar ik vond het ook niet heel erg om naar te luisteren. Prima voor achtergrond muziek ig

I didn't listen to the whole album (lack of time) but the songs i did give a listen to, were nice! I only knew the cure from 'boys don't cry' and 'friday im in love' Would defenitely listen to the album again to form a better opinion and some songs have the potential to end up in my playlist after a few listens! Again, i feek like this would be more of a background music for a saturday evening

Before i listen: i already know seven nation army (twenty one pilots did a great cover btw!!) But i think that is the only the white stripes song i know. It still is a good song eventhough it is played a lot. I am excited to hear the rest of the album. 'There is no home for you here' was nice 'In the cold, cold night' is defenitely a re-listen worth!

Before listening: i am excited for this album since i already know 3 songs and my dad is a big u2 fan. I know a bit of their music style but i am curious about the songs i haven't heard before! Where the streets have no name: one of the 3 songs i ALWAYS mix up the intro's but i do like this song I liked the first few songs the most, the rest was a bit boring but still enjoyed listening!!

Could have been worse but didnt enjoyed listening very much

I really enjoyed listening to this album which is a quite rare since it is the first time im hearing these songs for all but one (ofcourse i heard stairway to heaven before, it really is a banger). i can't quite jet pick some songs to put in my playlist, therefore i would need to listen to all again first. But that is surely something i am planning to do. I would give it a 9/10 but since thats no option i will be nice and give this album 5 stars!

For someone who likes this kind of music it is an okay album i guess, but that's not me. There is nothing 'wrong' with except that is is highly boring. I was waiting till the 47 minutes were over and almost every song sounded the same to me (which is not completly unusual for me after listening an album only 1 time but still...). If i were to pick a favorite song it would be andies babies and as least favorite i would choose patience. Once again, it is probably not a bad album for its genre i just dont think it deserves its spot in this list of greatest albums all time since there is nothing new, exciting or interesting about it

Not big on the country but could have been worse. A couple of crazy long songs tho...
