Favorite Tracks: - Smooth Operator - Your Love Is King - Hang On To Your Love - When Am I Going to Make a Living - Why Can't We Live Together

David Bowie's dive into soul and RNB. I have listened to the album before and listening to it now, I still feel the same about it, which is pretty alright but not my favorite from him. I still appreciate the instrumentations and the live feel. The background vocals are another highlight on the album. But because I find that I like his other works more, I could not feel the same way for this one. I also find that some of the tracks do blend together apart from a few. They are right that he called it "plastic soul", as it felt like it was trying hard. Though it just doesn't hit the same way compared to other soul albums. Regardless, it is better than his dance period in the 80s. (The snare from Time Will Crawl will forever make my head pound). Favorite Tracks: - Young Americans (really like how it mirrors what the US was like throughout the lyrics alongside the beat) - Fascination - Fame (I think that this is the track that captures the funk the album is trying to achieve)
