In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Dec 24 2025

Really good 2 song jazz album. Funky. Liked the opening minutes and the closing minutes best.

Sea Change by Beck
Dec 25 2025

Very different from what I was expecting from Beck. The live instrumentation gives the album a more traditional singer songwriter sound very fitting with the album’s depressed, reflective mood. Beck does sad boy very well, but not the best.

Young Americans by David Bowie
Dec 29 2025

Fame and Young American have been Bowie favorites of mind for a long time. Unfortunately the rest of the album is very forgettable. This album feels important only in the context of Bowie’s career, not so much music as a whole. Won’t be revisiting.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Dec 31 2025

While not a favorite genre of mine, Bob Marley always manages to capture my ear. The hits are undeniable. Jamming is on of my favorite songs of all time.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Jan 05 2026

Album starts strong but slowly fades. Mr. Blue Sky was the lone highlight of the back half for me. If you cut the run time in half by pick the best 8 songs it would probably be a high 3 star low 4. Favs- Turn to Stone, Mr Blue Sky Worst- Jungle, Standin’ in the Rain

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Jan 15 2026

Probably my most controversial opinion, I hate this album. I listened to it once in 2022 and refuse to ever listen again. Longest hour and 19 minutes of my life. Felt like it was 3 hours.

Transformer by Lou Reed
Jan 16 2026

Fun, quirky album Favs- Walk on the wild side, Perfect day, Vicious Worst- New York telephone conversation
