1001 Albums Summary

Nothing too impressive, I enjoy the instrumentals of the songs but I don’t think I’d listen to the album or songs again. I just listened to ‘paranoia blues’ and I really enjoyed that song and the production of it. Overall, this album didn’t wow me. I probably wouldn’t listen to it again but it was nice to experience something I’ve never heard before.

Currently 10 songs into the album and I have really enjoyed listening to it. I love the vocal range of Carole and the instrumentals of her songs. I’d say my favourite song from the album right now would be ‘way over yonder’. I just finished the album and I am very surprised that I actually loved it and added it to my playlist. I can understand why it’s in the top 100 albums ever. I would 100% listen to this album again.

Unlistenable.

Loved the album!!! I had listened to it so much as a kid with mum so it brought back memories of us in the kitchen playing ‘Hand in my pocket’ and baking. 10/10 would listen to again.
