Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes

Review Score: 1/5 Some catchy lyrics and instrumentals ruined by a horrible voice and horn dog lyrics. All of these songs would be used a serial killer movie and not in a good way. Get this guy some cooch and maybe he'd make better music.

What's Going On by Marvin Gaye
Dec 31 2025

2.5/5 This albums would work more as an instrumental album than what it was released as. I didn't enjoy what Marvin Gaye's lyrics brought to the table. I did not enjoy Wholy Holy, Save The Children, and Right On. I disliked how he would sing whatever words after he was narrating. The soundscape and the vibe are what i enjoyed most about What's Going On. It didn't click for me as it did for others.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Jan 01 2026

Review: 4 Instrumentals crazy good, never get boring, he knows when to switch it up even when the songs it 7 minutes long. Sadly, his voice leaves isn't very nice and doesn't suit the songs but, he can make some good instrumentals. Nice mix of Jazz and Rock elements. Son of Mr. Green Genes was a really good the ending was perfect, very theatrical. The Gumbo Variations was a spectacle as well, his use of different instruments and making them mesh so well is highly impressive. Final Thoughts: This guy's knowledge about Jazz knows no bounds. The solos and everything about the jazz/rock instrumentals were phenomenal. I wasn't expecting this from the album cover. Also, Frank Zappa you're not a vocalist no more lyrics outta you please. Although the album was good i personally won't be listening to it hardly ever tbh. It was a good experience nonetheless. I wish the songs were shorter.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Jan 03 2026

Review Score: 4/5 Amazing album from Stevie Wonder. The highs of this album are amazing but i would be lying if i didn't say there are some songs I wouldn't skip. Incredible jazz instrumentals followed by Stevie's amazing vocals. There's not much more I can say about this album other than it's amazing.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Jan 06 2026

Eh. Jazz without vocals not really my thing. This album is probably the goat for jazz heads. This album does nothing for me

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jan 07 2026

Review Score: 3.5/5 Good rock album, amazing instrumentals, lyrically it lost me the further the album went on, but i think it'll come to me the more I listen to rock albums.

Moss Side Story by Barry Adamson
Jan 08 2026

Review Score: 1/5 Instrumental album. A soundtrack for a movie. Don't care.
