Solid album that shows what REM was turning into

Love this! I haven’t listened to a lot of disco-flavored music but this is great. Lots of funk here.

Electronic, trippy, sometimes jazzy and funky - a vibe for sure. It reminds me of New York for some reason. I've never heard this album and wasn't familiar with David Holmes before this, but I'm really digging this album. I can see this being part of my regular rotation. Favorite song on the album? Don't Die Just Yet, probably.

Surprisingly good. I’ve never really listened to Billy Bragg before but this album was solid.

Ok, I've never really listened to Pulp aside from their radio singles. I like a lot of UK bands from the same era, so I don't know why I never tried this album out. I was pleasantly surprised! It's really solid, and I'll listen again.

Amazingly, I'd never listened to this all the way through. It's a trip - definitely feels like going to another world, and it's the prototype for so many things that have come after it.

This was solid - so many great songs on it. This is absolutely not something I would have listened to on my own, so thanks!
