1001 Albums Summary

I love the cult classic songs by The Killers and even a couple of their more obscure/less mainstream ones, but I'm ashamed to admit that even in the year of our Lord 2026, I had never listened to this entire album before. While listening to this, I can see why the popular ones are popular and why the other ones kind of faded into oblivion.

Besides the already popular songs, there were only 1-2 songs that I liked. All the songs seemed a little long, which in my opinion is not a good thing. Haha

Cool vibes but it got old after listening to the entire album. I know Radiohead is a classic, but I couldn't help but think of Muse while listening to it.

Some really cool guitar licks and some fun songs. I can see why this really slapped when it came out.

3.5 leaning toward 4 At first I didn't think I would know any of their songs, but Black Hole Sun is a serious banger. There were also a couple other songs I listened to more than once! Overall, nice grungy vibes 🖤

A different style than I usually listen to- kinda folky. There were a couple of songs that I liked, but the end of the album was somber and dragged.

I can see why Creep was their only really well-known (to the masses) song. This album was not my cup of tea. In fact, I found myself avoiding listening to it and wishing it was over
