1001 Albums Summary

Love the atmosphere and the story in the songs, it's just not my kind of music. Favorite song: Cocaine Blues.

Feels very grand, production is incredible. Features carry the album and sound way better than Kanye's verses which sound half-assed. Nicki Minaj is in her best form here. Overall really great album, wish Kanye would've just shut his mouth and kept making music like this. Favorite song: Monster, or Blame Game, if it didn't have the Chris Rock skit at the end.

There are some absolute classics here, which I just learned came from this album. Great foot stompin' music. Favorite song: Good Golly Miss Molly

This album is just boring. I don't dislike it, but I honestly wish I did, because then at least I would have some emotion towards it. Favorite song: Tusk, the only good song in the album.

This kind of rock is just not for me.

Beautiful vocals, a classic.

How have I never heard of this band before. Super funky and flowy(?) rock which I love. A couple just ok songs but they don't detract from the rest of the album.

There is some good guitar here, but some parts of this album genuinely hurt to listen to.

It's undeniably a work of art as music, but damn are some of these songs hard to listen to. Not just because of the upfront homophobia and misogeny and whatever other heinous shit he says, but some of these songs just so amateurish. The highlights of this album are amazing however. Stan is incredibly heartbreaking, and eases you into the rest of the album, and Slim shady is hilarious and catchy as hell. Favorite song: Stan.
