Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Jan 06 2026

NY NJ Swinging singin Mr. Old Blue Eyes. Those horns! Rip Frank Sinatra you would’ve loved Jschlatt and that one guy who was on America’s Got Talent that sounded like a crooner. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Always stay Italian, Frankie baby. Thanks for the love songs that never seem to go out of style or fall out of love.

Jan 07 2026

Honestly wasn’t as bad as I thought. I may go back to some of these. However, I did think I was going crazy when El Paso played a second time. Odd choice.

Graceland by Paul Simon
Jan 08 2026

Just not my cup of tea. Paul Simon is fine for a little diddy (Me and Julio), but a full album was tough to get through for me. Homeless specifically was like what the hell is going on.

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
Jan 09 2026

My mom dressed as her for Halloween as a teenager and I can understand why.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Jan 10 2026

RIP Amy. I’m sure you would’ve continued to be a riot, even in this day and age. Truly one of the greatest voices of the 2000s.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jan 11 2026

Drive-In Saturday, Time, and Lady Grinning Soul were the highlights for me. Although I’m not a big Bowie guy. The guitar in Time was transformative.

What's Going On by Marvin Gaye
Jan 12 2026

Beautiful album. I love how it all blends together. Marvin Gaye was ahead of his time. Will definitely be going back to this one.

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Jan 13 2026

It would’ve gone hard in middle school. Most of the songs sounded too similar to me, to the point that I thought it had repeated. Love the classics, but it is definitely “of its time,” although I acknowledge I would have probably enjoyed it more at a different time in my life.

Jan 14 2026

I always underestimate just how good Queen is and how much I love their music. I was skeptical since the only one I recognized was Killer Queen, but wow! Will definitely be going back to this one.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Jan 15 2026

Eh. The songs sounded very similar to me and none really stood out tbh.

Eagles by Eagles
Jan 17 2026

Not too bad. Had some nice ones. A few that stood out. Classic sound.

Your Arsenal by Morrissey
Jan 18 2026

He’s an ass hat, but you can’t deny the guy’s talent. It’s a shame he is such an ass hat.

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Jan 19 2026

I went in with low expectations. I haven’t liked Smashing Pumpkins every time I’ve tried to listen to them. I was blown away at how much I enjoyed this album! The guitar parts specifically took me right back to my days of isolation.

Jan 20 2026

I was expecting to loathe this one and was dreading listening to it. I’ve heard a few Bob songs and his voice had always been irritating to me. That being said, I enjoyed this album. His storytelling is unlike any I’ve ever heard. It’s not my usual cup of tea, but you can’t deny that this guy knows how to tell a story.

Odessa by Bee Gees
Jan 23 2026

If you played this for me and told me it was The Bee Gees, I would literally have to Shazam it to know that you were telling the truth. Not at all what I expected from them, but still a very pretty-sounding album. I’m a sucker for mallet bells usage too.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Jan 24 2026

I loved the samples on this one. “Doggystyle is so good” - n8.

Reggatta De Blanc by The Police
Jan 25 2026

Started and ended VERY strong for me, but the middle wasn’t as notable. Middle dragged it tbh.

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Jan 27 2026

Wow. I’ve played many of these songs on repeat, but I’ve never actually listened to the whole album. Shocking, I know. It’s a beautiful album.

Illmatic by Nas
Jan 31 2026

I forgot what a masterpiece this album is. 10/10, 5-stars, and the best one we’ve listened to so far (in my opinion). Absolutely no skips.
