1001 Albums Summary

It's hard for me to not like Stevie Wonder and this has one of my favorite songs so there wasn't much to discover but a genuine listen was great.

One of the best openers of any album. I've listened to this many times but with a new listen here's what I took away. The whole album overall is sonically perfect and it's great to listen to. Mostly calm but overall somewhat similar in tone from one song to the next. Maybe that's the point but after the opener there's nothing that really stands out from one song to the next with a few exceptions. You can get a little lost listening to the album from start to finish.

This is a classic for me, has been part of my library since it was released so there's nothing new for me. Really great album.

Amazing start to finish.

I was a metalhead in the 80s and early 90s when this was around and my first show was actually Megadeth. Listening to these albums again reminds me why we're still listening to Alternative and Grunge in 2026 vs metal cause it hasn't aged well and really all kinda sounds the same.

I could have easily not listened to this before I died and been totally fine with that. Not totally awful but nothing really all that special.

Not great. You know Tubular Bells, pt. 1 but after the beginning the rest is just ok. Not my favorite listening to the whole thing front to back.
