1001 Albums Summary

The OG “Lofi beats to study to” Crazy how the production still translates so well to modern day.

I thought it wore its influences on its sleeves a bit too much but a fun listen still!

Genuinely one of the greatest albums I’ve ever heard. The emotion, the production, Jeff’s voice, all perfect.

Three good songs and 9 fillers that all sound the exact same.

I don’t like the panning that was going on in the 60’s but the songwriting and performances more than make up for it!

REALLY good. I can see the influences this draws from and would have had on the NY music scene.

This is not for me.

Band was super tight, the jams were had, I can see why this is considered one of the greatest live albums ever. However, 2 hours of 12 bar blues gets taxing.

Such a peak album for smooth jazz. Only getting a 4 instead of a 5 for a lack of variety.

Some of the best musicians in the genre doing the thing. Cant ask for more than that! Cool cats!

Baby making sexy slow soul music. Only getting a 4 instead of a 5 because it’s not an album I’ll find myself constantly going back to.
