1001 Albums Summary

The sheer depth of musical knowledge this man has is incredible. Can hear the influence from several genres and somehow he makes it work.

I know the lyrics to several of the songs on this album, and knew nothing of some of the others. Just a full album of bangers.

Damn, way before his time. Doesn't sound like a '70s album, at all.

Didn't realize how many of her songs that I know are all on one album. Not a single miss.

I don't know if this is down on the list of his albums when ranked or if Bowie just isn't for me. Might have to go read some reviews and maybe try again in the future.

I'm not sure I made it all the way through a single track.

Recognized a couple of songs and enjoyed most of the rest. Jam band isn't really my thing, no matter the country of origin.

The audacity to open the open with a 13 minute song, damn. Can definitely hear how he influenced so many who came after him.

No comment really needed. Perfectly example of why he's ranked in the Top 10 Greatest Artists of All Time.

Somehow have never listened to a Jethro Tull album before. Love the flute bits, very "summoning the fairytale beings"

There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. Ole blue eyes knew what he was doing.

Didn't like a single track except the two in the middle that everyone knows.

I've never had the pleasure of listening to this entire album. The millennial in me loves it.

Some singers' voices just don't jibe with my brain, but I like all the other parts.

The first few tracks I can take or leave, but it really hits its stride in the middle and is just fun AF to the end

Definitely going to come back to this one in the future!
