Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Dec 12 2025

I like Bob Dylan, but sometimes his voice tears me out.

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Dec 12 2025

Not my favorite style of vocal jazz - too detached, operatic, polished

The Yes Album by Yes
Dec 15 2025

I want to like Yes. They are an amazing band. But I just don’t - too muddy, mushy, messy. That’s because they are great musicians doing complex arrangements, but still….I just can’t connect with this music emotionally and that’s what matters most to me.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Dec 17 2025

Singer-songwriter, personal, intimate, calming, moving, nice guitar playing.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Dec 29 2025

One of the BOAT! My friend and I listened to this over and over after Kurt Cobain died, trying to decipher what led him to suicide.

The Trinity Session by Cowboy Junkies
Jan 14 2026

One of the slower CJ albums but I like the mood

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Feb 03 2026

Important live compilation album historically but didn’t resonate with me. Muddy sound.
