This is where K.Dot gets very good at painting a picture with words.

This is an alright funk album, i liked about every track that isn't a single lol.. I think this band was way too focused on the singles they forgot to make good music, my favorite parts would probably be the last 3 minutes of That Lady with the instrumental part and all of The Highways of My Life because it felt way more personal than all of the other stuff. The sound isn't too different from something like Michael Jackson's music, so it would've been cool to see their own spin on the sound. So yeah, i think if they focused on making good music instead of big singles, it would've been better because i feel as this band had a lot of potential. Not saying that that's the band's fault, because in most cases it's the record labels pressing the artists, but there are just a lot of other records that do the same thing but better. This isn't something about the album itself but oh my god WHY ARE THERE LIKE 9 EXCLUSIVE SONGS ON THE END OF THE ALBUM?? I understand if it's like one or two, but there are NINE exclusives here, including four different interviews?? At this point just do like Jamiroquai does and put them on a separate disc, because we do NOT need all that. Favorite song: The Highways of My Life Least favorite song: Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight

I find myself coming back to this a lot! This is my first time really interacting with this genre of music and i’m glad it was such a good project as this one.
