Caramba, que álbum PERFEITO. Não teve uma faixa que eu não tenha gostado, mas “Have a Talk With God” e “Black Man” chamaram minha atenção demaisss. Estou feliz de ter conhecido esse álbum, fiquei muito impressionada ao saber que o Stevie Wonder sofre de cegueira, mas esse é um fator que só contribui para o seu talento aguçado com música.
HOJE TIVE AULA DE CULTURA e HISTÓRIA. TODOS deveriam escutar Black Man.

Mistura crítica política, safadeza e reflexões sobre os seres humanos. Gimme Shelter é uma ótima crítica sobre as guerras, e percebo que muitos artistas/bandas que tiveram seu apogeu no século XX fazem o mesmo, como Guns N' Roses na música Civil War. Eu também reparei na letra de Gimme Shelter e tive a surpresa de que a tradução rima mais que a letra original: "War, children, yeah (...) It's just a shot away."; "A guerra, crianças, yeah (...) Está só a um tiro de distância" (traduzido). E Let It Bleed, nem se fala, né? Depois dizem que as músicas antigas não têm putaria. Se isso não é putaria, não sei o que é. É no máximo uma baixaria com classe.
Achei um disco muito rebelde. A capa surpreendentemente combina muito com as faixas. Tem bolo, pneu, disco, prato etc, que retrata muito bem o que nossos ouvidos irão presenciar logo em seguida: uma mistura de vários assuntos e temas.
Mick Jagger tinha 25 anos na época de lançamento, creio eu que estava no ápice de sua juventude. Eu vi umas fotos dele nessa época e ele parecia bem comportadinho, o que não combina com a rebeldia de suas faixas (diferentemente de muitos músicos da época). Mas enfim, que importância tem? Aparências enganam. Não é meu favorito dos Rolling Stones, mas tem minha aprovação <3
Lovesong é uma musica romântica perdida no meio dessa calamidade de melancolia e tristeza. Lullaby também descontrai um pouco e é minha preferida.
Soube que o Roberth Smith se drogou porque não estava sabendo lidar com o sucesso da banda em 89, o que é curioso… A fonte de inspiração da maioria dos artistas é o próprio espelho.
Falando nisso, a letra de Desintegration é muito específica e foi a que mais me chamou atenção (inclusive pesquisei o significado para ver outras opinões).
Acho que esse disco tem uma música para cada tipo de decepção ou tristeza que existe.
Trip-hop é um gênero musical novo pra mim. Dele, eu só conhecia Portishead.
Gostei bastante, mas a música Protection é simplesmente sensacional. Muito bem feita e produzida. Tracey Thorn e os caras estavam muito inspirados nesse dia, absolutamente fora de curva a letra e a sonoridade.

Karmacoma também é muuuuito divertida, aff. Que vibe de música.
A minha terceira preferida é Better Things, tbm com a Tracey Thorn. A letra é ótima e essa parte foi uma pedrada kkkkk:

You say the spark's gone, well get an electrician"
Adorei, é um disco bem diversificado mesmo.

It’s probably the less Queen album from Queen. I liked it. White Queen is amazing.
When I think something good is gonna happen, nothing does. Then I noticed it's an instrumental album.
I mean, there’s nothing surprising or really good about this album, but it’s not garbage either.
Maybe someday I’ll listen to Tortoise again.
