The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Feb 16 2026

While the start of the compilation has a few good songs I found it became very repetitive to the point where I somewhat disassociated myself from listening intently. However, it was not bad to the point of being unbearable and I did quite enjoy the first disc or two. But lacked substance at least after disc 1.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Feb 17 2026

I perhaps made the mistake of looking at the track list before listening (although as someone who only knows a small sample of Elvis’ work I’ll excuse myself). Had a couple of decent songs at the start but I found myself somewhat waiting around for In the Ghetto and Suspicious Minds (the two songs I knew). Relatively middle of the road for the most part but Suspicious Minds is an incredible song and my favourite from Elvis, at least from what I’ve heard. So just for that the album gets a slight boost in its overall rating, without that I’d may be leaning more towards a 2.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Feb 18 2026

Went into this album knowing very little about Alanis Morissette but I was pleasantly surprised. While I felt as though the album definitely got stronger as it went on there was a nice variation of tracks and styles which was maybe as much just me growing into the album as much as anything. I enjoyed the instrumentation of most of the tracks as it felt like there was actually depth to the majority of them. Favourite Song: Ironic Least Favourite Song: All I Really Want

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Feb 19 2026

Probably my least listened to album of the ‘69-‘75 Led Zeppelin discography. While it was good overall I personally believe it’s a bit weaker than the others perhaps mainly in the ‘banger’ category. Starts off strong with Immigrant song but fails to meet the highs of that imo but the level of quality doesn’t drop massively even after this. Still an amazing album from a generational band but not quite getting over the threshold to push it to a 5 star rating.

Feb 20 2026

One of if not the best album of the ’90s. All time classics throughout and not a bad song in sight. Need I say more

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Feb 21 2026

First couple of songs were good, then just levelled out afterwards. Not bad but nothing really jumped out after Fast Car.
