I enjoyed the slower paced songs on this album more than the higher tempo ones. I think the vocals and instruments really shine in those songs. Overall pretty good album, great recommendation cuz I def wouldn’t have given it a chance just cuz rock isn’t my main genre of music.
I’m not a huge fan of his songwriting in this album, I think it’s too slow paced for me. It pairs really well with the instrumentation though. I prob wouldn’t revisit this one but I enjoyed the first time listening experience. Fav track is Hero, least favorite is Rolling.
I enjoyed this albums rap inspired songs. The instrumental focused ones didn’t really impact me much, but they were still good. This is my first time listening to this album from start to finish.
I didn’t care for this album much. I like a lot of the guitar in here but it got repetitive at times, and I didn’t care for his singing voice most of the time. My fav track is In The Cold, Cold Night, least fav is The Air Near My Fingers.
I enjoyed this album. I think some tracks had too many repetitive samples at certain moments, but it was a great first listen. Interesting instrumentals and great production overall.
I enjoyed this album but it feels pretty dated to my taste in music. The theatrical approach to rock is pretty cool, but I prob wouldn’t add most of these songs to my playlist. Either way it was a good album and good first impression of David Bowie's music that intrigued me. Fav track is Lady Grinning Soul, least fav is Let’s Spend the Night Together.
I didnt really enjoy this album much. It’s not bad it’s just not my taste in music. The theatrical parts of certain songs were cool to hear but other than that I didn’t really take any interest in these songs besides the first one. Fav song is Ogden's Nut Gone Flake, least fav is HappyDaysToyTown.
I enjoyed this album on first listen. I didn’t like both the tracks that just repeated the same words over and over, but it’s a minor nitpick because imo it's there not to be heard as actual tracks, but to add onto this album's overall feel. Fav song is IMPACT (The Earth Is Burning), least fav is PLANET OF THE SHAPES.
This album was passable for me. I didn’t dislike it, but I also didn’t like it. I’m not sure why, I’m sure there’s a reason that it’s highly acclaimed but I don’t really care for it. It feels like I’ve heard this sound before and either I don’t care for it or I’ve heard it done better. Fav song is Love is Only a Feeling, least fav is Get Your Hands off My Woman
I enjoyed this album. Each song felt unique but very easy to listen to all the way through. There were a couple choruses I wasn’t a fan of but overall everything was good. Fav song is Stir It Up, least fav is Baby We’ve Got A Date (Rock It Baby).
I had a good time listening to this album.
I didn’t understand any of the lyrics but the vocals were great and so was the instrumentation. Maybe gets a little slow in the 2nd half but not enough to make it bad. Fav song is Viðrar Vel Til Loftárása, least fav is Ágætis byrjun.
I thought this album was ok. I didn’t hate it or love it. I probably wouldn’t revisit most of the songs on the album, but I enjoyed certain parts, and the production was great all the way through, just not my thing. Fav song was Galang, least fav was U.R.A.Q.T.
