Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Feb 20 2026

This album is not for me. Its cool that it has a very specific vibe, sound and atmosphere, but it gets way to repetetive for me. I ended up feeling bored and tired more than anything else. Just as the album ended spotify played A Strange Day from the cure as well. This song was so much more interesting and full.

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Feb 24 2026

Great album. Frank manages to both create a coherent sound while testing the limits of it by experimenting with is flow, vocals and tempo. It holds the themes of love, drugs and social inheritence as its main themes, and while getting into interesting discussions it never really say anything conclusive.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Feb 25 2026

I get it. He is just so fucking good. His voice is great and he is so much fun to listen to.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Feb 26 2026

One of my very favorite albums. So mellow while also giving explosive and emotional outbursts. By far Coldplays best album with so many interesting lyrics and beautiful melodies. They never really reached this high again.

Music Has The Right To Children by Boards of Canada
Feb 27 2026

Damn, this shit i weird. But i kinda like it i think. i bit too beep boop for me. Turquoise haxagon sun sounds like an evil beat. This is a bit to experimental for me. I think there is a lot of value to this artistically, especially for its time, but when listening now it mostly sounds like a talented 6-year old with a cool keyboard. The influence this have had on both electronica, hip-hop and other sample heavy genres is very apparent. Songs like Roygbiv could have been released as a lofi hiphop beat right now. The adolescence of these ideas are visible, but very young and not really developed it feels like. Okay the second half of the album is a lot more interesting. So much of modern hip hop and mellow electronica is apparent here and they play with a lot of interesting sounds. I still feel that every song is just waaay too long. It might be the zoomer tiktok brain, but instead of 7 minutes of repetetion, give me 3-4 minutes of concentrated new ideas.

Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters

Fine, but not really for me. A bit to loud but has some fun songs.
